Physiology in four weeks in intense!  That's about all I'm doing except working a little so that I can afford to buy gas. . . I just stay at school for the three and a half hours between classes 'cause it costs to much to run home and back again. . . I guess I go through a good many books like the "currently reading". . .

Sometimes all you need is a little quiet time with God.  I encourage anyone to skip church some Sunday, go to a park or someplace quiet and just talk to God. . . This past Sunday I did that and as I flipped through my Bible, God kept giving me verses of encouragement and I copied them out into a notebook. . . I've never felt that close to God before and it's an incredible feeling. . . I think that sometimes God needs people away from everyone else so He can prove to them that He's all they need. . . I'm learning. . . Slowly. . .

The spring semester is over!  Where did time go??  It's May and in my head I'm still back in February or sometime in the far back past. . .   Now I have the SUMMER to look forward to!  Trips, travel, physiology, work, money (I hope), summer sand v-ball league , warm weather, and prep for nursing school start in the fall!!!!

When it feels like no one cares - Someone does.
And that Someone will support you through whatever He sends.
He has promised to do so, and He WILL!

Just some encouragement that I needed to give myself. . . I thank Him that I have some awesome friends to lift me up and encourage me to grow through these experiences!  God is AWESOME!!

  • It's warm enough to play tennis!  Zach and I are going to be pro's someday!  lol  It is fun though and we are getting better.

Tuesday night was great.  We had a bunch of people over for a picnic supper and games (and music).   Big thanks to Wencel for letting an amateur like me play along with him (and make him read the music ).  It was great to have someone to play with!  Thanks to everyone who came!

The scent of lilacs is heavenly.  Jem and I rode bike this evening and rode by some really gorgeous lilacs.   Ahh. . .

I'm done rambling!  Nursing Orientation at school this Saturday!  I'm really pumped about that!

    Blessings to all!

  • Lonely? No way!!

I should be lonely. . . I have the whole house to myself for  over four days. . . But I'm really enjoying the peace and quiet. . . Makes for better studying!

I was supposed to work today but they down-staffed me,  so I wake up, have a leisurely breakfast on the deck enjoying the warm (almost hot) weather, and head up to my garden to work for a while. . .

I love 80 degree days in April!   The ornamental cherry trees are covered in a profusion of frilly pink blossoms; the magnolia wafts drifts of it sweet scent across my balcony into the bedroom; the maples trees are covered with little buds; the daffodils glow golden yellow in the morning sunlight. . . It's beautiful!  I LOVE SPRING!

In other news, we're having a picnic tonight!

    Look around: God is everywhere!
